Brady is ready for the beach!  Here he is in the car about 2 hours away from our destination, Sea Pines, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.Brady was a little unsure at first when we put his tiny feet in the sand for the first time.  It didn't take long for him to love it though!
Daddy introducing Brady to salt water and the waves...One thing we love about HHI is that the waves are small and the water is calm, which was perfect for Brady.  When the tide was low, tiny "baby pools" as we called them formed on the beach and they were the perfect depth for brady to play and splash in.
His first time sitting in the sand...
He was so curious about it all!
When Brady got tired we just made him a little bed in the sand underneath our tent and he slept peacefully for all his daytime naps!  Does he look comfy or what?

Brady loves his Grandma Delmore!
And he loves when his Grandpa Delmore plays with him and reads to him!
Aunt Lauren and Brady at Harbor Town!

A family photo in front of the Harbor Town marina and lighthouse!
Mommy and Brady having fun at our swimming pool!
Isn't he just adorable in his summer hat?
Playtime inside after a long day at the beach!
Playing all day definitely made him tired so by evening he was ready to sleep...anywhere he could!

Brady loved the pool...he just splashed and splashed!  We were so happy to see him enjoying every new experience!
Aunt Lauren and Daddy buried Brady but he always managed to wiggle that one foot free!

One thing HHI is special for is Greg Russell.  He always sings under this big tree at Harbor Town and he has been doing it was over 20 years!!  So every night during the week from 7-9pm he sings songs for all the children and has children come up and sing their songs for everyone. Nothing is cutter than seeing a 3 year old go up with with Greg Russell and sing their favorite song, which is usually a vacation bible school song they learned the week or two before their vacation.  Bryan and Lauren grew up coming here to HHI and seeing Greg Russell every summer so for them it was truly special experiencing it with Brady.

Every morning Brady would wake up around 6:30am and since everyone else was sleeping, we would put him in the stroller and take him for a long walk on the beach for an hour or two.  This is one of my favorite memories of the trip because it was so peaceful and beautiful and precious time spent just the three of us!  Half way through our walk, Brady would always fall asleep to the sound of the waves.  Eventually we would meet up with dad (Grandpa Delmore) and finish our walks with him.  What great memories we made!

Brady loved playing in the sand.  You can see the joy on his face below!!

Fun pool time with mommy!
